Glasgow IV Part 1 Concludes
The first block of the Glasgow IV Hearings in relation to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital concluded on Friday 30 May 2025.
During this three-week session the Chair, Lord Brodie, heard evidence from representatives of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, Multiplex, IBI, Currie and Brown, Capita, ZBP and TÜV SÜD. Counsel to the Inquiry questioned the witnesses on several topics including design and construction, water and ventilation, budget processes and contract compliance.
This was the first of three parts to the Glasgow IV hearings, with part two scheduled to begin on 19 August 2025. There will be no closing submissions for the end of part 1 and 2; they will be published at the end of part 3 when Glasgow IV Hearings are complete.
